VOLUME 56 ISSUE 27 JULY 9, 2019 P39 Seewer (Yamaha) filled out the MXGP podium with 3-4 results, while Anstie (2-6) and KTM rider Glenn Coldenhoff (5-3) rounded out the top five overall. In MX2, it was another overall victory for Prado, but it was a hard-fought win because of a crash in the first moto and mis- takes in the second. Prado came back to win the first moto and bat- tled his Red Bull KTM teammate Tom Vialle, who took second. Prado struggled a bit early in the second moto, while Dutch- man Thomas Kjer Olsen (Rock- star Energy Husqvarna) worked his way to the front. At one point, Prado slipped back to sixth before charging back up through the field. He found himself bat- tling his teammate Vialle again, this time for second place. Prado eventually got around Vialle and took second place to Olsen but still took the overall win with a 1-2. It was Prado 26 th career win. "I was feeling good all week- end, the first race after the crash was quite difficult, but I could make it," Prado said. "I messed up the second race a bit, but I got to second and another GP victory. At the second race, I had a good start, got into first, but my teammate was pushing and passed, and I got him at the end. The lap times were short, and I struggled a bit. I am just happy with the win for the moment, and I'm looking forward to next week." Vialle ended up second overall via 2-3 motos. Second-moto winner Olsen took third overall with a 6-1. His moto win was his third of the season. "The first race was a struggle, and I didn't feel like myself," Olsen said. "I was just trying to keep with my teammate Jed [Bea- ton] who was riding good. The second race I think everyone was tired, but I really wanted that win, and I made it, keeping my ener- gies until the very end." Prado still enjoys a command- ing lead in the championship. He leads Olsen by 51 points. Belgian Jago Geerts (Yamaha), who was 10 th overall in Indonesia, is third in points, just nine points behind Olsen. CN MXGP 1. Tim Gajser (Hon) 1-2 2.
