Tomac tried for most of the last half of the moto to find a way around Anderson, but couldn't, and had to settle for third, but Baggett absolutely dominated moto one, winning by almost 10 seconds over Anderson. "My start wasn't the best, but I was able to make it through the pack, and I got behind Cooper ing to hang on to him, made that mistake, and then was able to make those passes back." Tomac got up in fourth, just in front of Roczen, who was strug- gling to move forward at the tail end of the top five. Eventually, Anderson and Tomac both got around Webb, who soon after was lucky to avoid injury when he went down in a big way. Webb got back go- SEELY OUT, CIANCIARULO IN? Honda HRC's Cole Seely dislocated his shoulder before the High Point round. Seely indicated that when he popped his shoulder back into the socket, it went in too easily, and that led him to the doctor, and the prognosis isn't good; he needs surgery, and he's out for the rest of 2019. And that may spell the end of his tenure at Team Honda unless the team becomes a three-man roster, as rumor has it Adam Cianciarulo has signed with Big Red for 2020 and beyond to be teammates with one of his best friends, Ken Roczen. Honda had re- signed Seely for 2019 after Seely missed almost all of 2018 with a fractured pelvis suffered in supercross. ONE FEWER COOPER New Zealand's outdoor-mo- tocross stalwart, Cody Cooper, has returned to New Zealand after racing the first three rounds again here in the U.S. He's been doing this for years, but usually with much more success. Cooper landed 15th in the opening moto of the year but failed to score any points in the subsequent five motos. BLOSS'S BACK Benny Bloss made his 2019 debut at the High Point Na- tional after missing all of 2019 Briefly... Ken Roczen (94) battles with Cooper Webb (2). Roczen won the second moto.
