Bell Dominates Primm Grand Prix T hough scheduling conflicts have prevented Chaparral Motorsports/Precision Concepts Kawasaki' Zach Bell from compet- ing in previous rounds of the FMF AMA National Grand Prix Champi- onship (NGPC) Series, when he does show up, he's amply dem- onstrated the speed that earned him the series title in 2017. He proved it again at round five—the Sunland Shamrocks Motorcycle Club's Primm Grand Prix held next to the Primm Casino Resort in Primm, Nevada—by dominating the 90-minute feature race for his third victory of the season. He led almost from start to finish over Purvines Racing Yamaha's Justin Seeds and Johnny Campbell Rac- ing (JCR) Honda's Trevor Stewart, the defending series champ and current points leader. "It was a good race. I feel like I've been second off the start all year long; it's not a bad spot to be, but I definitely got roosted by Justin in the first turn—got sprayed—and knew I had to make a pass quick," Bell said. "I made the pass stick in, I believe, the second or third corner and just rode my own race [from there]. Justin was riding really good. Basically, I just had to manage my race.
