MARTIN RECOVERING FROM SURGERY
Things are looking up for Jeremy Martin after
undergoing second surgery on his back.
J
eremy Martin underwent surgery on his back last
week and apparently everything went well this
time.
Martin injured his back last year at the Tennessee
National MX and had surgery shortly after the crash.
But the healing process was slower than expected
so an un-planned second surgery was performed.
According to an Instagram post by Martin, every-
thing went well with the second surgery and he is
expected to make a full recovery. Unfortunately,
Martin will miss the entire 2019 season.
He posted: "Update the surgery yesterday was a
big success. We are now on the road to recovery.
Thanks for all of the well wishes I appreciate it."
Martin recently extended his contract through
2021 with the Geico Honda Team. CN
