VOL. 56 ISSUE 2 JANUARY 15, 2019 P35 FMF KTM FINALIZES 2019 TEAM AND RACING PLANS T he FMF KTM Factory Racing Team has finalized its off- road squad and racing plans for 2019. Little has changed as far as riders. Kailub Russell, Taylor Robert, Cody Webb and Josh Toth are all returning for another season riding orange. Antti Kallonen will again man- age the team. Russell returns to defend his number-one plate in the GNCC Series, and will also compete in the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Se- ries. He'll ride KTM's 350 XC-F. Robert will, once again, ride KTM's 450 XC-F in the West- Coast-based World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) and Sprint Hero Racing Series in 2019. Webb is currently defending his number-one plate in the FIM SuperEnduro World Champion- ship will also compete in the AMA EnduroCross Series, riding the KTM 350 EXC-F. Webb will also compete in select hard enduro events across the world aboard KTM's 300 XC-W TPI. In his second season with the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team, 2017 GNCC XC2 Pro Lites Champion Toth will make the jump into the premier class in 2019. Riding aboard the KTM 350 XC-F for the first full season, Toth will compete in the GNCC and Full Gas Sprint Enduro series, as well as select hard enduros in the U.S. Multi-time off-road racing champion Kacy Martinez re- cently announced her retirement from professional racing follow- ing a very decorated 10-year ca- reer. Martinez, who was slated to return to the team this sea- son, will ride select local events as a KTM Ambassador aboard her KTM 250 XC-F. As far as the AMA National Enduro Championship is con- cerned, KTM will be supporting the Baylor brothers, Grant and Steward, with factory equipment for Tely Energy Racing. Steward Baylor is the defending cham- pion. KTM will also support Trail Jesters' Ben Kelley in GNCC XC2 and in the J Day Off-Road Sprint Enduro Series in the Northeast.
