JORGE LORENZO TALKS REPSOL HONDA
T
he gag on three-time Mo-
toGP World Champion Jorge
Lorenzo has officially been lifted,
with the Spaniard now finally able
to talk about his move to Repsol
Honda for the 2019 MotoGP
season.
Lorenzo enjoyed a rejuvenat-
ing final year with Ducati, but
stunned the racing world when,
on the day after his historic Italian
GP victory, he announced he'd
signed a deal to replace Dani Pe-
drosa and partner Marc Marquez
at Repsol Honda—creating argu-
ably one of the most competitive
teams in grand prix history.
Lorenzo was banned from talking to the media
until December 31, 2018, but now the Majorcan
can speak his mind of the challenges ahead as he
faces the most dominant rider of the past six sea-
sons head-on with the same machinery.
Honda released this video focusing on Lorenzo's
switching of teams. CN
