UTAH MOTORSPORTS CAMPUS SALE
OFFICIALLY APPROVED

he three-year saga surround-
ing the future of the Utah
Motorsports Campus has been
resolved, with Tooele County
closing the sale deal of the venue
on December 28, 2018, to new
owners Mitime Investment Utah
for $18.5 million.
"The money has been ex-
changed and the deed has been
handed over," said Tooele Coun-
ty Commissioner Shawn Milne
to the Tooele Transcript Bulletin.
"We've been working on this now
for three and one-half years. It's
nice to have this buttoned up so
the incoming new commissioners
don't have to deal with it."
The $18.5 million sale price
will see a net income of $9.2
million land in the coffers of the
Tooele County, after $9.3 million
was deducted to cover costs as-
sociated with running the venue,

an eye towards H&H Nationals as well as Nevada's
Motorcycle Racing Association of Nevada (MRAN)
events.
Joining them will be Justin Seeds, whose fo-
cus will be the new FMF AMA Grand Prix National
Championship Series, formerly known as the AMA
District 37 Big 6 Grand Prix Series. Besides GPs,
he'll also hit non-conflicting rounds of the Rocky
Mountain ATV/MC World Off-Road Championship
Series (WORCS).
And in a team first, Purvines Racing adds a fe-
male member in former Youth H&H Girls champion
Caitlyn Kurtz, who'll hit the hare & hound nationals
and select other races that fit into her high school
activities. CN
