FIM HOSTS 2018 AWARDS GALA,
VIEGAS ELECTED NEW FIM PRESIDENT
T
he FIM hosted its "royal" year-
end awards gala in Andorra
la Vella to honor the FIM World
Champions of 2018. It was a
weekend of meetings, fan activi-
ties and photo ops, culminating
with the Saturday night ceremony,
where two-wheeled champions
from Toby Price and Cody Webb
to Toni Bou and Marc Marquez
were honored.
Scarcely recognizable in black-
tie attire, stars of MotoGP, World
Superbike, Supercross, Super-
Enduro, World Rallies, World
Trials, SpeedwayGP and more
walked the red carpet, and also
held a meet and greet with fans.
As always, the gala coincided
with the annual FIM General As-
sembly, where a new president
