IN THE WIND P26 WANT A MOTOGP KTM FOR YOUR NEXT TRACK DAY? K TM's MotoGP program may not have yet yielded the kind of results Europe's largest manufacturer has been hoping for, but that doesn't mean the RC16 isn't one of the most desirable motorcycles on the face of the planet. And now, you could own one! Red Bull KTM is selling two full factory-spec RC16 MotoGP race bikes, for the bargain price of £250,000 ($283,900). Now before you scoff at the price, what you're buying is a 270-horsepower pure prototype—the likes of which is very, very rarely sold to the buying public. And for the price, you'll also get the chance to be a team member in the Red Bull KTM outfit for any MotoGP weekend of your choosing—the package includes a paddock tour, pitbox tour meet and greet with Pol Espargaro and Johann Zarco, a set of KTM team apparel and you get a full set of pre-worn Pol Espargaro gear including Dainese leathers, boots, gloves and AGV helmet. If you think this sounds like you and you'd want one of two real RC16s in your garage, email rc16@ktm.com and put your hat in the ring (note: there will be many people in the running for the bikes and KTM has not released how the winning bidder will be chosen). CN Now is your chance to own one of the most exclusive motorcycles in the world... if KTM picks your bid as the winner. TORRES FINDS A HOME AT PEDERCINI S paniard Jordi Torres will rejoin the WorldSBK Championship for 2019 after signing a deal to join the Pedercini Kawasaki squad alongside compatriot Gabriel Ruiu. Torres started 2018 in WorldSBK competing for the MV Agusta factory in place of Honda-mounted Leon Camier and finished it as the stand-in rider for the injured Tito Rabat after he suffered season-end- ing leg injuries in a practice crash at the British Grand Prix in August. The move to Kawasaki machinery in 2019 will be Torres' fourth different manufacturer in WorldSBK competition, after competing for Aprilia in 2015, BMW during 2016-2017 and MV Agusta in 2018. "I'm happy to have found a historical team of WorldSBK that runs with a winning bike," said Torres. "Kawasaki is the right bike for the WorldSBK champi- onship and I cannot wait to try it to express everything that this bike can give on the track. "A special thanks to [team owner] Lucio Pedercini for giving me this op- portunity. I trust the team and I know that it has the experience to give me the weapons to fight and express my potential." CN Jordi Torres' perennial game of musical WorldSBK chairs now sees him in green for 2019.
