"I had a lot of motivation in here
to show what I could do. I felt good
today. Just an okay start, made it
to the front by the second lap and
rode my own race," Bell said. "It
was more about just getting through
this race. I wanted to win and get
through it [without getting hurt], get
to Chile, then we can do what we
need to do. I put myself in a good
position and rode like I knew how. I
didn't make any mistakes and kind
of walked away with it not trying as
hard as I could, just riding smooth
and it put me in a good position."
"I think he's got just about as
much pressure on him as I do when
it comes to Six Days especially,"
Stewart (Maxxis/Pro Circuit/Fly
Racing CRF450RX)," said Stewart.
"He threw down today. For him to do
that is really impressive. Maintain-
ing that points gap is basically what
we're doing right now. It's kind of
the mentality we have right now. We
have a healthy points lead and it's
'don't mess that up!' Coming into to-
day, obviously myself, my pops and
Johnny [Campbell], we talked and it
came down to 'If it's your day, go do
what you do and if it's not, settle for
a second place, settle for a third.'"
After dominating the AA race ear-
lier on Sunday morning, Seeds felt
loosened up and ready to also carry
on the momentum from last week's

Pro II win (and sixth for the
season) to sew up the class
championship. Next year will
see him on 450s full-time.
