down some good laps and stay out front cleanly. Then, I fell in the sand turn and took a lot of time going through the No Joke Lane tonight because it was actually No Joke. It was pretty serious! I made it through in the lead and just brought it home." After such a promising start to the night, Webb tried to be positive after landing second place. "I had a lot of pressure from Colton in the main event and it was a pretty fast track and we were both all doing the same lines and obstacles out there," said Webb. "The intensity was really high and I made a little bobble in the sand and then started to get tight. I was the first guy to start passing lap- pers and getting through them was really tricky for me tonight. I made a bad call into the rocks and Colton got by me. After that, I was too tight and just couldn't put down the intensity." Haaker will now carry a four-point advantage over Webb going into the next round in Everett, Washington this weekend. IN THE WIND P32 Third on the night went to Ty Tremaine who found out earlier in the week that he no longer had a motorcycle to race after hearing the news that Alta Motors had suddenly shut down. Luckily, he got a ride with Beta and managed to finish out the night on the podium. "I flew into Denver with a pair of handlebars and that's it," Tremaine said. "Luckily, I'm in pretty good shape because I've been training really hard to ride the Alta, and it's a bummer with what went down with them and I feel for the company. But, I'm so fortunate to be able to keep racing with Beta for the rest of the year and to get a podium on my first race with them, I couldn't be happier." Fourth went to Noah Kepple (GasGas) and fifth to Cooper Abbott (KTM). "It feels really good to be this close to the podium, that solidifies the fact that my hard work is paying off and I just need to keep at it," said Kepple. "I have tried so many different outlooks on how to be successful with Endurocross. I feel like I finally have a handle on what works for me all while balancing a demanding racing series with my col- lege education at University of San Diego." Kacy Martinez-Coy (KTM) came from behind to win the Women's main event. She was third after the first lap but steadily worked her way up to the front. Martinez got around Morgan Tanke (Beta) on the second lap then spent the next three chasing leader Shelby Turner (KTM). She soon got around Turner and held on for the remaining two laps to take the win ahead of Turner and Nicole Bradford (KTM). CN Noah Kepple had a career-best fourth. PRO MAIN 1.
