hen you consider how motocross and supercross are
often described in eras named after dominant racers,
like "the Carmichael era" or "the McGrath era," it seems
curious that the Monster Energy Cup has somehow avoided hav-
ing a repeat winner for the first seven years of its existence. But it
did. That is until this year, when Eli Tomac not only won the event
for the second time in his career, but also all three main events
and the Monster Million that went along with it.
