The 250 and 350 XCF-W are revvers but very forgiving.

different. I forced myself to ride
something other than the 300
and I went with the 250 XC-W
two-stroke. Did I go out on a limb

not in the best shape of my life

start a National Enduro, I needed
something light, nimble and easy
to ride. The main goal: finish.
Actually, all of the bikes I rode
on Saturday pretty much fit that

criteria - even the 450 - but, the

Yeah, I know, I didn't stray far ter than the 250 two-stroke (KTM

didn't have a new 200 XC-W
available for us to ride.)
Last year, the 250 and 300
two-strokes got a major overhaul.
They got new frames, updated
motors, new plastic and translucent fuel tanks. This year, KTM
refined both bikes even more massaging the frame, swingarm
and bodywork, retuning the PDS
shock and fork, redesigning the
