LOOKING BACK
We covered the High Sierra M.C. Motocross at Mammoth Mountain,
and pictured on the cover 50 years ago was the Bultaco-mounted
sidehack team of Marvin Le Blanc and Fred Soteros seen getting
a little excited during the day… J.N. Roberts continued to rule the
desert this time winning in Adelanto, California… We covered flat track
racing from Ascot, where Gene Romero took the win, giving him
good confidence going into the upcoming 8-Mile National… Amateur
racer Mark Brelsford also got a confidence booster at Ascot after
winning the Expert main and Expert Trophy Dash TT.
