At the restart it was again Iwana ge into th e lead . H e pe rformed flawlessly a nd was even able to stretch h is lead. All during the race Jimm y Hi gu era was hard a t wo rk sifti ng throu gh traffi c. H e finall y go t by Dam ron and alt hough he was ridi ng well he d idn't di min ish the lead held by Iwana ga.
