to race 450s at RedBud, who between them have
scored no better than third place in any single 2018
MXGP moto, and sit fifth and sixth in the MXGP
points standings. (Musquin, on the other hand, has
only finished off of the podium four times all year,
and those finishes were three fourths and one fifth.)
Team France's MX2 racer, though, Dylan Ferran-
dis, was probably a very good choice, as Ferrandis
proved once again at Unadilla, going 1-1 to win the
250MX class over teammate and points leader
Aaron Plessinger (Team USA).
With two rounds left to run, Tomac still leads
Musquin by 15 points, so that championship is still
close enough to provide some drama, but Pless-
inger is likely to clinch the 250MX title this coming
weekend at Budds Creek in Maryland.

getting a good start
at a wet Unadilla.
