Rick Johnson was pictured on the cover in front of rowdy fans at the
250cc USGP at Unadilla. Americans swept the podium with Johnson
taking the win, Bob Hannah finishing second and Micky Dymond
taking third… Bubba Shobert set a new one-lap record in mile racing
at the DuQuoin Mile; the new fastest man in mile racing stopped the
clocks at 37.377 seconds. And, yes, he won the race, too… Wayne
Gardner won the World Championship Road Race in Yugoslavia…
Fritz Kadlec won the Boothil National Enduro in Colorado.
