Once Klin g was passed by Harth he

with Nob les la te in the race. That

of the ra ce.

"It was a tire p roblem, " Dunlo p tire
techni cia n Ji m Alle n sa id . " But we
don 't know what happen ed . No ne of
th e ot hers had problems." Alle n added

them with Nob les'.
Eventual th ird pl ace finish er Crevier
started the race in fift h place, moved
to fourth wi th the demise of Nob les
and then took over third wh en R ussel l
retired. The Canadian was giving up
som e 150cc to th e othe rs, a nd was
happy with his performance.
"The Honda's been good to me,"
C revier sa id. " T hey've go t a bi t more
grunt. I figured I'd follow 'e m a nd beat
o n 'em a bit and let attrition set in.
