P102 PRODUCT REVIEW I GPR V4D STEERING STABILIZER FOR THE HONDA AFRICA TWIN BY CN STAFF T he Honda Africa Twin does not include a steering stabilizer stock and although the bike does not feel unstable, a stabilizer adds a bit of safety and com- fort. This is especially important when riding a 530-plus- pound motorcycle off-road, often in remote areas. The GPR V4D stabilizer has an added benefit of moving the bars nearly half an inch forward compared to the stock clamps, which sweep back. We noted that the Honda felt a little cramped in our comparison test with the KTM 1090 Adventure R and this opened the cockpit nicely (You can read the full test here). The GPR V4D tucks away nicely between the handlebar mounts and underneath the handlebars.
