"I came off the line decent and then Sammy [Halbert] crossed in front of me and
sprayed me. I didn't want to pull my tear off," said Davis Fisher. "I was trying to
find it and hesitated and got mixed up with Shawn Baer. Once I got by him, they
had a straightaway on me. I ran down Brandon
and got by him. I found a pretty good line to
miss all the bumps coming out of the corner.
It didn't start coming in until the end. It was a
little bit greasy at first. I reeled in Pearson. I
think with a couple more laps I would have had
him. My fastest lap was the last lap. Last year
I got lapped and then my chain fell off. It's an
improvement from last year, so that's good."
