Plessinger inherited the lead
and went on to win the moto
over Forkner, Ferrandis, Coo-
per, Alex Martin, McElrath and
Hampshire.
Plessinger's 1-1 score, com-
bined with Jeremy Martin's moto-
two DNF, gave Plessinger the
overall and a 20-point lead over
Martin with eight rounds left to
run.
Forkner ended the day sec-
ond overall with a 4-2 and Coo-
per was third with a 3-4. CN

RJ Hampshire, Dylan Ferrandis
(his first race back from injury),
Shane McElrath and Chase
Sexton.
Cooper got the start again in
moto two over Martin, Forkner,
Sexton and Plessinger, but this
time Martin didn't waste any
time getting by Cooper. Sexton
dropped out of the moto after
five laps with a mechanical is-
sue.
Plessinger had his work cut
out for him and it took him eight
laps into the 17-lap race to pass
Forkner for second, but Martin
was at that point long gone.
However, within a lap of Pless-
inger taking over the second
spot, Martin's bike quit at the top

flew to the top of the 250MX
Championship leaderboard with
a double victory, made better by
Jeremy Martin's second-moto DNF.
