ALTA MOTORS INTRODUCES 2019 EXR
A
lta Motors revealed its latest creation—the electric-powered Redshift EXR off-road motorcycle.
It's powered by the company's latest Alta R5.8 Pack motor, the "highest-energy density battery
ever put in a motorcycle. Alta's new R-Pack utilizes state-of-the-art cell chemistry that delivers extended
full-power range at cooler operating temperatures. The Redshift platform's firmware and software up-
grades result in more range, increased power and faster charge times, making the 2019 EXR one of the
most capable multi-terrain motorcycles available."
Alta claims that the EXR's motor delivers 50 horsepower and 42 lb-ft of torque, and will reach speeds
up to 71 mph. It is fitted with WP Xplor 48 forks and a WP Alta Custom Spec shock. It also comes with
Metzeler 6 Days tires, Brembo brakes and weighs in at a claimed 273 pounds. MSRP is $12,495. CN
