ROAD RACE MOTUL FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 7 / JUNE 8-10, 2018 BRNO CIRCUIT/ OSTROVAICE, CZECH REPUBLIC P70 a good setup with the bike." In the championship, Rea has 270 points, Davies 205, van der Mark 196, Sykes 179, Melandri 157 and Lowes a closing-fast 154. WorldSSP Jules Cluzel (NRT Yamaha) blast- ed to his third win of the year, running out front for the whole 16-laps of a warm and sunny race and holding off the close and sometimes tactile attentions of championship leader, Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing Yamaha). He and Cortese collided on the final lap, but it put Cortese off more than Cluzel. PJ Jacobsen went slightly bet- ter than Gagne on his privateer Honda taking 16th in race one and 13th in race two. "We got some points today and it was an OK race, but 13th is still not where I want to be," Jacobsen said. "We had some quite different temperatures here at Brno from when we tested, and the race today was extremely hot. It seemed nobody had much grip. We just have to keep improving everything, and each time we go out we find some- thing. It is my home race next. I have not been to Laguna Seca in a long time, since 2011, I think. I will try my hardest there try to get who went on to win his epic 60th race. Jake Gagne had another tough weekend on the factory Red Bull Honda, finishing with a DNF in race one but improving for 12th in race two. "The biggest challenge in race two was being so far back on the grid and it took a couple of laps to get my rhythm, but in the middle of the race I was quite strong," Gagne said. "I've been working on my riding and the team on the bike throughout the weekend so today it all came together. It was a positive end to the weekend and next up is Laguna Seca which will be awesome." Leon Camier holds off Xavi Fores, Loris Baz, Toprak Razgatlioglu and Yonny Hernandez in race two.
