The Yamaha YZ450FX is
all-new for 2019. Remember
all of the changes that the
YZ450F motocrosser got
last year? (Click here if
don't.) Well, many of those
changes have been adopted
to the 2019 YZ450FX cross-
country model. That means
the YZ450X now has things
like Yamaha's Power Tuner
App, Dual-Mode Switchable
Engine Mapping and an all-
new frame and engine.
Claimed weight (wet) has
dropped six pounds, from
262 to 256 pounds. Price,
however, has increased
$500 to $9499.
Availability is July.
The YZ250FX and YZ250X
(two-stroke) models are
returning for 2019 but are
essentially unchanged.
Yamaha has not yet
released any information on
its WR250F and WR450F off-
