TOO HOT TO HANDLE
Caught in the middle of all the attrition,
the Harley-Davidson factory riders
dropped out on laps seven, eight and
nine—all with overheating problems.
Both Jarod Vanderkooi and Brandon
Robinson were inside the top 10 when
they were forced out.
FAST FOR A LAP
Davis Fisher posted fast qualifying time
at 35.069 then backed it up with a lap
time of 33.912 for the fastest lap of the
race.
