to be an introduction to "twins"
racing.
The 10-lap main event went to
Michael Inderbitzin (Weirbach
Racing/Kawasaki USA Kawasaki
Ninja 649). It was Inderbitzin's
first ride on a twin and he had to
work his way through the eight-
rider field after a poor start.
Jordan Harris (Roy Built) led
most of the laps, but faded near
the end losing positions to both
Inderbitzin and Tristan Avery
(Ron Ayers/Mr. Sign).
"I knew I had my work cut out
for me," said Inderbitzin after
his poor start. "I need to work
on my starts, and that's about it.
I've never ridden the Springfield

Racing Yamaha YZ450F) ex-

Jake Lewis, Steven Sandoval,
Michael Inderbitzin and Ben
Lowe filled out the top eight
positions.

American Flat Track introduced
a new class—the AFT Produc-
tion Twins. The class is limited to
production engines, no "race"
engines (Indian Scout FTR750
and Harley-Davidson XG750R).
All the riders were Kawasaki
mounted. The class is meant
up that ensued.
Price had to be taken to the
hospital with what appeared to
be serious injuries.
Jesse Janisch (Roof Systems/
West Bend Harley-Davidson
Yamaha YZ450F) got the hole-
shot on the restart, but Dan
Bromley (KTM North America/
Bromley Motorsports, KTM 450
SF-X) pushed his way to the front
on lap three and even though
Janisch stayed close, he was
never able to reclaim the lead
and settled for second.
There was a great race over
third as Jay Newton (Monkey
Pumps/Monkey Moto Yamaha
YZ450F) and Oliver Brindley
Dan Bromley (62)
is the first repeat
winner in the
Singles class. He
edged out Jesse
Janisch (132) in the
