2-5 of Osborne, and the 6-4 of
Savatgy.
Most significantly, Plessinger
now joins Osborne atop the
championship leaderboard as
they head to Colorado with 88
points apiece; they both will
sport the red plates on their
motorcycles at Thunder Valley.
Two-time champ Jeremy Martin
is just six points behind the two
in third.
"It feels great," Plessinger
said. "It's one of the only out-
door overalls that I've got, so it's
a great win. And now we're tied
for the points, so I'm ready to go
to Colorado and get a lead on
'em."

bit a couple laps before," Os-
borne said. "I saw Aaron in it and
I was just trying to do something
different and ended up losing
the front end."
Alex Martin (TLD/Red Bull
KTM) was third in front of top
qualifier Monster Energy/Ya-
malube/Star Racing Yamaha's
Justin Cooper, and then Jeremy
Martin (Geico Honda), who
spent the entire moto behind
Cooper as they worked forward.
Coming in a ways behind
the top five were the Monster
Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki
duo of Joey Savatgy and rookie
Garrett Marchbanks.
In moto two, Plessinger didn't
have it so easy. Instead of start-
ing up front, he found himself at
the tail end of the top five and
behind some stout company,
including leader Alex Martin, Sa-
vatgy's teammate Austin Forkner,
Jeremy Martin and Savatgy.
Luckily for Plessinger, Osborne
was behind the first-moto win-
ner, but Plessinger didn't waste
any time moving through the
field. He was second by the end
of lap three, and then found his
way by Alex Martin only a lap
later to take the lead. Late in
the moto, he came under fire
from Osborne, but the defend-
ing champ swapped out and
fell, handing second to Jeremy
Martin.
Although Jeremy Martin trailed
Plessinger by about seven
seconds, in the last two laps,
as Plessinger put it on cruise
control, Jeremy Martin put in a
charge, and he registered his
fastest lap time of either moto
on the final lap but came up just
over a second short of Pless-
inger at the finish.
Alex Martin ended up third,
all alone, in front of Savatgy, Os-
borne, Forkner and Cooper.
Plessinger took the win with
a 1-1 over the 3-3 of Alex Martin,
the 5-2 of Jeremy Martin, the
