VOL. 55 ISSUE 21 MAY 30, 2018 P61 Out with the old, in with the new. Honda's much-loved CRF450X gets a major revival for 2019. Gone is the 13-year-old carbureted CRF450X, replaced by the all-new fuel-injected CRF450X, which, like the new dual sport L model, borrows all the new stuff from the 2019 CRF450R motocrosser. Like the CRF450R, the X gets a new frame, swingarm and six-speed wide-ratio transmission. Plus, it's California green-sticker legal. Honda continues to offer the full-race CRF450RX off-road model, which gets the same upgrades as the 2019 CRF450R motocrosser. Availability is scheduled for October with an MSRP of $9799.
