VOL. 55 ISSUE 21 MAY 30, 2018 P57
The new CRF450RWE "Works
Edition" is Honda's—or anyone's,
for that matter—long-awaited
answer to KTM's Factory Edition.
The WE features the same
updates as the base 2019 Honda
CRF450R but with a few important
upgrades, the biggest—a hand-
ported head from the factory,
and a complimentary Yoshimura
exhaust system. It also gets
special ECU settings to enhance
the new exhaust and head.
In the suspension department,
both the shock and fork get
special titanium nitrate and
other coatings.
Other exclusive goodies
include a gripper seat, black
triple clamps, higher-grade D.I.D
rims and gold drive chain and
the new HRC launch control
but with different settings from
the standard CRF450R. And,
of course, it gets Ken Roczen-

Throttle Jockey.
The Works Edition sells for
$11,499, which is $2200 more
than the base model. Availability
is early August.
