Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Zach Osborne came out swinging at Hangtown for
the second year in a row, and the rest of the field seemed powerless to stop him.
Monster Energy/Yamalube Yamaha's Justin Cooper snatched the early lead in
moto one from Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Austin Forkner and went on
to lead the next handful of laps while Osborne had to work his way through the top
few riders, first passing Jeremy Martin, then Forkner before dispatching of Cooper
and setting off for the moto win.
Martin was stuck in a battle with Forkner for more than half the race before fi-
nally finding his way by for second. Newly crowned 250SX West Champion Aaron
The 250MX class makes it through Hangtown's first turn.
