DIFRANCESCO, DEEGAN, TIJERO,
FLOCK, STAR AT JUNIORMOTOX
T
he third annual JuniorMo-
toX hosted many of the top
amateur motocross riders at the
Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Okla-
homa, May 10-12. Trey Canard,
an Oklahoma native and former
250 SX and MX Champion, was
a gracious ambassador at the
event. He helped design the
track and then hopped in the
tractors to help build it.
The 51cc Limited (4-6) year
old class had a whopping 46
entries and Florida's Braydan
Comerford (KTM) took the win.
Seth Dennis (KTM) took the
top spot in the 51cc Open (6-8)
class and Kade Johnson took
the first big win for the new Ya-
maha YZ65 in the 65cc (10-11)

limited class.
Haiden Deegan (Orange
Brigade KTM) was a double-
class winner (65cc 7-11 and
85cc 9-11), and Ryder DiFran-
cesco (Monster Kawasaki
Team Green) was one of the
standout riders, winning three
classes (85cc 9-12, SR1 12-13
and SR2 12-14).
The SuperMini classes
were won by Kaeden Amerine
(KTM) and Crockett Myers
(Suzuki), while Jeremy Ryan
won the Jesse Cup, which
combines the top SuperMini
1 and SuperMini 2 riders in a
shootout.
California's Mikayla Nielsen
(KTM) was a double-class
winner in the Girls Junior
(9-13) and Girls Senior (12-16)
classes. Delaware's Katie Ben-
son (KTM) repeated her win
from last year in the Women's
Open class.
On the larger bikes, Aiden
Tijero (KTM) took three class
wins (125 2-Stroke 12-18,
2-Stroke Challenge 14+, and
250 B Limited). Jesse Flock
(Kawasaki) was also a triple-
class winner in Schoolboy 2
13-16, 250 B 14-18 and Open
