Trevor Stewart dominated the Sunland
Shamrocks Motorcycle Club's Stateline
Grand Prix, May 5-6, in Primm, Nevada,
to retake the points lead in the AMA
District 37/FMF Big 6 Grand Prix Series
and its featured AMA Big 6 West Coast
Grand Prix (WCGP) Series. Stewart led
from start to finish in the $2000, 90-min-

Factory Off-Road Racing Team's Kailub
Russell a strong third on a hot, dusty
afternoon.
"I knew what I had to do and that was
to get a great start and my JCR Honda
pulled the gnarliest start I've gotten all
year," Stewart said. "I managed a nice lit-
tle gap—about 10 seconds—for most of the
race and tried to just ride how I wanted to
ride and how I know I can ride."
He took the checkered flag after an
hour, 36 minutes and five seconds, just
five seconds ahead of a happy Thompson,
the Maxxis/Maxima/Fasthouse KX450F
rider said, "Our first podium of the year
after being hurt; it's been a long road to
get back here, for sure, but I'm happy to
be back up here [on the podium].
