CN III VOICES W H A T Y O U A R E S A Y I N G "This whole thing was a racing incident or there would have been a penalty." Tomac Vs. Musquin Cheap Shot! If anyone knows a cheap shot it's Tomac. How many times did he intentionally hit [Ryan] Dungey in the final race last year and eventually knock him down? That's when I lost all respect for Tomac and supercross officials that let the sport come to this. I'm sure there's a black flag around somewhere. The real joke is the officiating. Dwight Hill It was a dirty move by Marvin, no question about it. Eli did not try to take out Dungey at Vegas last year but he did slow down and stack the pack and mess with him a bit. Eli will retaliate. Most importantly, Marvin needs to own it. Andy Kemps Pretty sketchy pass from Musquin on the last lap; thought [Roger] De- Coster and KTM taught their riders better than that. Bet Tomac doesn't forget, and when appropriate, will respond. Steve Firth This whole thing was a racing incident or there would have been a penalty. It was a bit sketchy but it was racing. I think maybe Musquin was caught off guard when Tomac went low. In any case Jason Ander- son is going to be the champ, and the racing is a bit boring. Can't wait until outdoors, real MX. Al Banta Ban Wada II Yeah, this is a BS deal all right, Mr. Cox. In regards to [Broc] Tickle, the punishment does not fit the so-called crime, not at all. As you stated, it cer- tainly helped end Stewart's career, and will do the same for this awe- some guy who has worked hard to overcome injuries, and who is finally hitting his stride. These guys are totally getting screwed by a few narcissistic fat cats who are completely oblivious to the "spirit of sport." I don't understand why the AMA/FIM doesn't just over- ride this ruling. I mean, why can't the ruling party just tell WADA to stick it and reinstate Tickle? I remember very clearly that the officials from WADA stated that they didn't give Stewart a break because they didn't like his attitude, and that they felt he didn't show enough respect to them. Which is an admit- tance that the punishment had abso- lutely nothing to do with the so-called crime, it was simply to show who's the boss! Not only is this completely unprofessional, but it's destructive to the sport, and especially for these individual riders who have given their life to the sport and have not cheated in the least. What can we (the fans) do to help? Howard Halterman Honda CRF250L Rally Dear Honda, you already have a proven 450 platform in the CRF450X. What are you waiting for? Build the CRF450X Rally bike and the masses will buy it. Enough with this 250 "adventure" bike stuff! We want a CRF450X Rally! Mark Crookston Nicky Hayden With the completion of the weekend at COTA, something l have been thinking about for a while has been brought back into sharp focus. While l love the fact that Nicky Hayden has rightfully been honored at the track with Hayden Hill, it seems that the scene of some of his greatest tri- umphs has not done something simi- lar. I suggest that [Laguna Seca's] turn five from now on be known as Nicky Hayden corner. Anyone that witnessed his first MotoGP triumph at the track in turn five knows his front forks looked like a jackhammer and yet he never went around the corner showing any caution for the entire race. SCRAMP, make it happen before WorldSBK this year. Mark Johnson 125cc All Star Series It's about time the sport returns to affordability and fun! Kevin Hutchinson All right, smokers! Must be why Villopoto's been seen practicing on one; what do you bet? Adam Wright In The Paddock: Destroying The Sport I agree with Michael Scott. MotoGP racing is bike racing—tough as it ever was. Everyone who watches racing is free to form their own opinion of the events, incidents and results. Enough of the fake news concerning Marquez and Rossi. Just let them ride.
