IN THE WIND P50 Josh Toth topped the XC2 250 Pro class. off the pace. But I just kind of put my head down and got back on his rear wheel. I think I can still make it happen, so I'll just go home and get ready for the next round." Ricky Russell (N-Fab/Am Pro Yamaha) grabbed his first po- dium of the season with a third- place finish, despite suffering a nasty crash . "It's been a rough start to the season but this is a good sign," said Russell. "I got a decent start and I was able to get into third, but by that time Kailub and Thad were long gone. About midway through the race [Trevor] Bollinger and [Jordan] Ashburn started putting pressure on me, but I was able to slowly pull away again. And then with about three laps to go, I had a huge crash. It took a bit to realize I was okay, and I was able to get collected and ride home for third." Bollinger (JCR Honda) and Steward Baylor (Tely Racing) also had their share of prob- lems—Bollinger crashed hard at one point while Baylor had to pit when his triple clamp bolts came loose; however, the two riders rounded out the top five, with Bollinger in fourth and Baylor in fifth. Josh Toth (FMF KTM) won the XC2 250 Pro class with a sixth- place overall finish, while Ben Kelley (Trail Jesters KTM Rac- ing) was second in the class and seventh overall. CN OVERALL 1.
