It started with Musquin, who tried to bring up Tomac's repeated contact with Ryan Dungey in Las Vegas in 2017 as a comparison to what he did to Tomac in the main in Foxborough. Here's a transcript: Musquin: "We've seen worse stuff like that. Last year in Vegas, for example, at the final round." Tomac: "Yet, you can fix a race at New York two weeks before that and not have anything happen. And then we'll get a $5000 penalty, and that's like a drop in the bucket for the 450cc class, so why not just keep blasting people?" Musquin: [Smiled big during Tomac's response.] "I know, I'm pretty sure we can talk about stuff like that..." Tomac: "We should be docked points, not a frickin' $5000 fine... Guys would think twice. Including myself and Marv..." Musquin: "I'm pretty sure we can talk about stuff like that, but, I mean, Josh Grant was right there in Vegas trying to help you, so I mean, it's not... You know what I'm saying? We can talk about stuff like that a long time, so... Things like that happen, you know?" Anderson: "Hey, I'm just listening to this stuff over here. I'm chilling... [Laughs]" Tomac: "But, I mean, where do you draw the line for a super-aggres- sive pass? But at the same time, there While most of the focus was on Musquin and Tomac at the end of the night, it was Anderson who came out smelling like a rose after getting third place.
