atrick Smage was invincible at the 48th
running of the El Trial De Espana, held this
year at the Dirt First Training Facility in Anza,
California, April 14-15, hosted by the SoCal Tri-
als Association. Smage never
put a foot wrong all weekend
en route to his second El Trial
victory of his career.
Daniel Blanc-Gonnet was
the next-best rider, followed by
Alex Niederer and 16-year-old
Josh Roper. CN
