In about every possible way. In a sport that has at times been too predictable, it was a lesson: always expect the unexpected. Where to start… Perhaps with Jack Miller's maiden pole position on a Saturday when the forecast rain came in vexing manner—light and very unpredictable. The Australian Alma Pramac Ducati rider took a big chance on slicks on a track that still had two very wet corners—and made up enough on the rest of the track to displace Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa. It was inspired. Or more probably with Pedrosa's team- mate, Marc Marquez, who proved every day that he was easily the fastest in all conditions. But he missed a front-row start, then earned Argentina threw up the most MotoGP race of recent years, the Marc Marquez/Valentino What On Cal Crutchlow won, but everyone is talking about the latest clash between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi. This time, it was the Italian who came off second best.
