Yoshimura Suzuki teammate Roger
Hayden was the king of superpole
last season and finished runner-up in
the championship. The key this sea-
son, Hayden believes, is translating
that qualifying speed to race day.
"Testing is important no doubt,
but the true test comes when that
green flag drops," Hayden said. "We
were right there for the champion-
ship last year and I think we can do
that again this year. Consistency is
going to be important. One thing
I'll be trying to improve is finding a
way to throw caution to the wind and
push a little harder in the final laps of
the races."

"IT'S GOING TO BE A TOUGH YEAR. THERE
ARE A LOT OF FAST GUYS…MY TEAMMATE
GARRETT [GERLOFF], TONI [ELIAS]
AND ROGER [HAYDEN] AND [MATHEW]
SCHOLTZ ARE ALL RIDING REALLY WELL
RIGHT NOW. I'M READY TO JUST LINE UP
AND GET THE ELBOWS OUT."
