seconds ahead when Andrea
Dovizioso passed the Spaniard
on lap six.
The front four made the
running from there to the end.
Rins got ahead of Miller several
times on laps 13 to 17; but it was
Crutchlow who was strongest,
and he took over on lap 18, as
message about his ride-through,
and promptly called in, rejoining
to finish lap six in 19th.
Up front, Miller was getting
gradually pegged back by Rins,
heading for his first MotoGP
podium. Zarco was on his back
wheel, and Crutchlow shadow-
ing. They pulled rapidly clear of
the on-form Tito Rabat's Avintia
Pedrosa never made the
start of the second lap. He was
pushed wide by a typically ag-
gressive Zarco overtake into the
tight penultimate corner, having
a most misfortunate highside on
the still-wet part of the track.
Now Marquez took over, and
was forging away rapidly until
lap five. At this point he got the
Jack Miller has quite
an incredible story
to tell the grandkids
after starting from
pole with everyone
else five rows back.
