"I can't ask for a better rookie
season than that—winning the
final round and going second
overall to Cody in the points,"
said Bolt. "Tonight was a great
night and I felt my riding really
came together to take the overall
victory. My speed wasn't any
better or worse than previous
rounds, but my mistakes were
fewer and that's made the differ-
ence. I felt much more consis-
tent in my riding and was able to
handle the intensity better, taking
two race wins tonight."
With the gate dropping on
race one, it was Blazusiak who
hit the front chased by Bolt and
Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM).
"After having a year out of rac-
ing in Europe, to come back and
be world champion is amazing—
this is definitely the most impor-
tant title I have won so far," told
an emotional and ecstatic Webb
following the night's champion-
ship winning celebrations.
"I am so happy," Webb added.
"I can't tell you what this means
to me. Of course, I feel bad for
Taddy, he was riding really well
tonight but the championship has
been great, and for it to come
down to the wire shows how high
the quality really is."
While Webb rode to his title
with a safe fifth overall on the
night, it was Billy Bolt (Rockstar

some of the limelight by carding
his debut overall victory in what
was his rookie SuperEnduro
season. Having grown stronger
and more consistent through-
out the series, Bolt delivered
likely the best performance of his
young career in Sweden. Arriving
to the final round third in points,
his victory—while capitalizing on
Blazusiak's misfortune—saw him
finish as runner-up in the final
championship standings.
