G erman motorcyclist Remo Klawit- ter rode an electric Zero DSR motorcycle 1000 miles in less than 24 hours on a looped ride between Berlin and the Land Centre for Renewable Energies in Neustrelitz, Germany. Klawitter said he wanted to draw attention to the practicality of electric bikes. He used only publicly avail- able charging stations. The DSR was equipped with Zero's optional Charge Tank, which cuts charging time from eight hours to about an hour. CN IN THE WIND P28 RAGA WINS X-TRIAL FINAL S pain's Adam Raga (TRS Factory Team) closed out the 2018 FIM X-Trial Champion- ship with a victory at the Laszlo SportArena in Budapest, March 30. It was Raga's first victory of the season. Second place went to Jaime Busto (GasGas Factory Team), while Benoit Bincaz (Scorpa Factory) rounded out the podium. Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Team) did not compete as he is recovering from an injury. Bou clinched the 2018 X-Trial World Championship at the previous round, and opted to end the season on that note. Bou finished out the season with 106 points, followed by Raga with 92 and Busto with 64. Bou hopes to be fit enough to compete in the opening round of the FIM TrialGP Champion- ship in Spain, May 19-20.
