BLOSE AGAIN IN IDAHO ARENACROSS T he first round of the Race to the Ricky Carmichael Cup was held inside the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho, March 25, and Chris Blose (TiLube Rockford Fosgate Honda) came away with his second Arenacross victory in a row, but this one came after the points schedule was reset for the four-round race to the championship. The win put Blose ahead of Jacob Hayes (Team Babbitt's Monster Energy Kawasaki) in the championship point standings. However, the big news of the night was defending champ Gavin Faith crashing in the rhythm section in the first moto, causing the race to be restarted. Faith did not return. Hayes actually took the first- moto win after passing Blose late in the race and holding on for the victory. The two battled for the win again in the second moto, this time Blose got around Hayes for the race win and overall victory. Earlier in the evening, Blose won the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC Head 2 Head Challenge, earn- ing another point towards the championship. Ryan Breece (Kawasaki) was third overall with 4-3 finishes, and Heath Harrison (Honda) was fourth overall with a 3-4 score. Robbie Wageman (Yamaha) rounded out the top five with 7-6 moto scores. Blose now leads Hayes by two points (42-40) with three rounds remaining. Harrison is third with 29 points. Breece (GPF Babbitt's Online) also competed in the AX Lites West class and captured his sec- ond win in as many races. Second place went to Isaac Teasdale (Kawasaki), followed IN THE WIND P48 Chris Blose came away with a big win at the Idaho Arenacross.
