SHOOTOUT
All signs seemed to point to a good battle between the points
leaders on both coasts in the first of three 250SX East/West
Shootouts of 2018. Inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis,
Indiana, the dirt is known to rut up and break down, and in
conditions like that, it usually works in favor of Aaron Plessinger
(Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha) and Zach
Osborne (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna).
But nobody told that to the rest of the stacked field.
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammates Adam
Cianciarulo (West) and Austin Forkner (East) took down the heat
races, and then it was off the start of the main event. Jeremy
Martin grabbed the holeshot, and as the racers got squeezed
on the inside of the corner, Cianciarulo caught the edge of a Tuff
