When Tickle went down, Brayton
ended up taking over third place,
where he would stay to the finish, fin-
ishing just in front of Anderson, who re-
covered for a remarkable fourth-place
finish. Tickle ended up fifth for the third
time this season.
Behind Tickle came Malcolm Stew-
art (AutoTrader/JGR Suzuki) with his
best finish of the season, followed
by Webb, Benny Bloss, Chad Reed,
Baggett, Bowers and Kyle Cunningham
(HEP Motorsports Suzuki).
Tomac ended up 15th, and Anderson
now leads Musquin by 35 points as the
series heads to its only weekend off.
There are five rounds left, starting in
Seattle in two weeks' time.
HILL STAYS HOME
Justin Hill, who won the 250SX West
class at the San Diego Supercross,
was a no-show for the first East/West
Shootout of the season. According
to his Autotrader/Yoshimura Suzuki
Team, Hill came down with an illness
earlier in the week that prevented him
from racing. He will undergo further
evaluation.
RIP DAN CUNNINGHAM
The motocross community lost a mem-
ber in the week between the St. Louis
and Indianapolis Supercrosses. One
of Dunlop's support-team members,
Dan "DC" Cunningham, passed away
Sunday morning after the St. Louis
Supercross. He leaves behind his
wife, Melissa, and his son, Damon.
There's a GoFundMe to help the family
he left behind, which can be found

SORRY, BROC
Dean Wilson admitted that it was
his mistake and fault for taking out
Broc Tickle for second place. "That
was unfortunate," Wilson said of the
incident. "It was kind of a stupid move
on my part. We all make mistakes

came in through the whoops, my arms
were a little bit tight and I just didn't
expect him to cut down super hard
because there was a lapper there and
I just cleaned him out. I'll talk to him
later once he's cooled down. If it was
reversed, I would be mad too."
IN HIS PRIME
The Indianapolis Supercross marked
Justin Brayton's third heat-race win in
a row, followed by a podium finish. "I
think a lot of it's just belief," Brayton
