VIRGINIA SPRINT ENDURO POSTPONED T he second round of the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Championship at Harleywood in Bristol, Vir- ginia, scheduled for March 24-25, was canceled due to bad weather. The race, however, has been rescheduled for April 28-29. All riders who have pre-entered will automatically have their entries transferred for this new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you are asked to email info@fullgasenduro.com for a full refund of your entry. The Mike Brown MX Brown Academy riding school scheduled for Friday, March 23, has also been rescheduled to Monday, April 30. For more information regarding the school contact info@ mxbrownacademy.com. The organizers said before the scheduled race weekend that, "given the current and upcoming weather forecast, current conditions of the park- ing areas and race track, we feel as though this is in the best interest of the Harleywood landowners and all of our racers." CN IN THE WIND P34 JOHN MCGUINNESS TEAMS WITH MICHAEL DUNLOP FOR 2018 TT I n a shocking turn of events, 23-time Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness will team up with archrival Michael Dunlop in Dunlop's own MD Rac- ing outfit for the 2018 Isle of Man Supersport TT. After announcing he will be joining Norton ear- lier in the year for the Superbike and Senior TTs, McGuinness' move to MD Racing will see him on familiar Honda CBR600RR machinery in the Su- persport TT. Since 2010, McGuinness has lined up in the colors of Padgetts Racing and, more recently, the Jackson Racing team, finishing in the top five on eight occasions with his most recent outing in 2016 seeing him finish fifth. The 2018 TT will be his first since near career-ending injuries suffered at the North West 200 last year when riding for Honda Racing. "I'm excited to be riding Michael's bike at this year's TT," McGuinness said. "It started off as a bit of a joke conversation between us both and has developed into him going off and building me a bike. We've won 38 TT's between us so together we know what needs to be done and I am sure we will be right at the sharp end." CN The Harleywood round of the sprint enduro championship was postponed due to weather.
