I had a little trouble in the heat race but was able to get back into qualifying position by the end. I had another good start in the main and I'm so happy to get my first top-10 in Supercross. I'm excited to head to Indianapolis and race with all the West Coast guys in the Shootout." WEBB OUT Cooper Webb (Monster Energy Yamaha) has had a rough season, but it was begin- ning to take a turn for the better, but things turned bad again. He grabbed his first top-five of the year just a few races ago in Tampa, and then last weekend in Daytona he snatched his first podium of the year. However, he had a crash during the week after Daytona and injured his shoulder. He tried to ride in St. Louis, but he crashed in practice and called it a day. "Unfortu- nately, I had a practice crash on Tuesday that led to an injury in the shoulder," Webb said. "We came here to St. Louis to see if I could ride and after going down in the free practice today I realized the strength isn't quite where it needs to be. For my own safety, we felt as a team that it would be better to get my shoulder healed and come back when I'm 100 percent. We've been rehabbing it the last four days and I'll have another week to rehab it and get it feeling better to hopefully be back for Indianapolis. Right now, the main concern is to get my shoulder better and come back strong and be back on the podium and going after race-wins." SHOULDER PAIN Malcolm Stewart (Autotrader/Yoshimura/ Suzuki) finished out the 450SX main in 10 th but it might've come at a price. He suffered a shoulder injury in his heat race when he collided with another rider. He soldiered on through the night but will have to have the shoulder examined this week and see if he can race the next round in Indianapolis. Briefly...
