SUPERCROSS ROUND 11 / MARCH 17, 2018 THE DOME AT AMERICA'S CENTER / ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI P70 MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES iii My Own Race: 21 JASON ANDERSON 2ND 450SX Jason Anderson has done a great job of increasing/maintaining his championship advantage since he took over the points lead, and despite finishing second in St. Louis, he still managed to put two points between himself and former training partner Marvin Musquin. "That whole race was kind of a bummer, but a step in the right direction from last weekend," Anderson said. "The track, I wasn't really flowing with it too well and Eli [Tomac] made it look savage, just like he was last weekend. At the end of the day, points are cool. I'm doing good, but I don't take it lightly. I really want to beat Eli and I want to beat him straight up. He's not making it easy on us since he's riding good. I tried my best. We'll be back next weekend and hopefully on that top step before we go into the break." 25 MARVIN MUSQUIN 3RD 450SX Marvin Musquin had an uneventful main event in St. Louis. "I'm a little bit disappointed with the performance tonight, I finished pretty far off the leaders," Musquin said. "Riding by myself the whole main event was not easy but I gave my best the whole time. I still got a third place on the podium but I wish I could have battled more with the second place. I thought the riding was okay, but I was just missing a little bit of rhythm." He trails Anderson by 42 points with six rounds left to run. 34 WESTIN PEICK 5 TH 450SX "St. Louis went much better for me than the week before in Daytona, where I dealt with sickness and the crash in Atlanta," said Westin Peick (Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki). "I rode well in practice. I came from 10th to fifth in the heat race. In the main event, I wanted to be safe and stay on the inside, so I chose a gate that had a big pot hole in front of it. I didn't get the best drive, but I made some good passes and fought my way up. I held strong through the main event and ended the night in fifth. I felt strong and am back in the right direction to where I was in the early part of the series." 6 JEREMY MARTIN 2ND 250SX EAST Things are looking up for Jeremy Martin. After a bit of a rocky start to the 250SX East Series, Martin has now grabbed second place two weeks in a row and moved to within 14 points of second place in the title chase. His podium interview was one for the books, though: "You know, these guys are fast, but they put their pants on the same way I do," Martin said. "We're out there going David Huckerchief, givin' her the beans, trying to chase down Zach [Osborne] and those guys, but they were going good."
