ESLICK WINS DAYTONA 200

anny Eslick captured his
fourth victory at the 77th run-
ning of the American SportBike
Racing Association's Daytona
200 at Daytona International
Speedway, Saturday, March 17,
in Daytona Beach, Florida. The
Oklahoman did it in dominating
fashion on the number-69 TOBC
Racing Yamaha R6. He simply
outran the 57-rider field and took
the checkered flag 26 seconds
ahead of his nearest competitor.
(According to the ASRA, six rid-
ers were disqualified each for an
"airbox infraction.")
Eslick has now won the 200
four times in the last five years
and becomes just the third rider
to win the Daytona 200 at least
