actually had our guy Corey, at the
Baker's Factory, build us a really nice
replica this week, and we had a really
good week of testing," Osborne said "I
didn't change a whole lot coming into
tonight."
BETTER LATE
THAN NEVER
The 2018 Daytona Supercross marked
Justin Brayton's 131st-career main
event, and his first win. "I knew that
I had to put in really good laps in the
beginning with that good of a start,
and I made that pass on Christian
[Craig] the first lap and really just
tried to get a gap, and then just tried
to manage that gap," Brayton said of
how he won the 450SX main. "I saw
Coop [Cooper Webb] in second, and
he made a little bit of a charge, and
once Eli [Tomac] got him, I think there
were four or so laps to go, and I was
like, 'Oh, boy, here he comes.' I put
together good laps. I knew towards
the end of the race he could only go
so fast, once the track gets rough like
that, so I thought I managed it well,
and it's crazy. I finally got a win!"
ROCZEN PROPOSES
(WELL, SORT OF)
It was another busy day for the recu-
perating Ken Roczen (Honda HRC),
who attended his third consecutive
race on the sidelines. (Roczen was
injured at the San Diego Supercross.)
After signing autographs alongside
Honda teammate Christian Craig for
over 30 minutes, the German helped a
fan propose to his girlfriend by writing
"Will you marry me?" on one of his
posters. She said yes! We assume to
her boyfriend. CN
