I panicked a little and then pushed too hard to regroup and ended up having a huge crash shortly afterwards. "My bike hit a marshal and that shook me up a lot, thankfully she was okay when I checked on her after the race. After winning the first two races I was disappointed to let the overall win slip away like that but I'm still in a good position for the title in Sweden in three weeks." Riding strong all night, Bla- zusiak was quick to pick up the pieces in race three. Taking the win he also secured the top step Entering final three, a little over six minutes separated Webb from his third overall win of the season. But a crash in the matrix halfway through sparked a series of crashes that culminated with a collision with a track marshal. With the incident deflating his momentum, he ended the race eighth for third overall. "The first two races went very great," Webb said. "I felt like I was riding smooth and consistent and came away with the win in each race. Unfortunately my opportu- nity to take my third overall victory came undone in the third final. "I was riding strong but when I came around to the matrix sec- tion I had a big mistake. I just But when the gates dropped on the first final it was Colton Haaker (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing) who shot out to an early lead. Immediately Webb, Blazusiak and Walker were breathing down his neck, perhaps pressuring Haaker into crashing on lap three, allowing the trio to hit the front. Webb then pulled away for the win, with Blazusiak chasing him home for second. With the starting order re- versed for race two, Webb and Blazusiak quickly carved their way through the field. Keeping his rival under pressure, Blazu- siak wasn't able to find a way through and Webb carded his second win of the night. Cody Webb was cruising to victory until a crash-filled third main event.
